My Trip Without a GPS

My boyfriend and I went to Chicago one weekend for a business and pleasure trip. I was on business at the hotel we were at and he just came along to tour the city. We forgot our nuvi 1350LMT and he was too cheap to rent one at the car rental place. He spent hours circling the city, and was 2 hours late for dinner. I waiting and waiting at the hotel in frustration. We didn’t have cell phones and I couldn’t contact him. When we finally went out for dinner, he didn’t even know where the bar was to watch his sporting event. We kept driving back and forth. It was dark and I couldn’t see the street signs very well. I was furious with him and couldn’t believe he didn’t spend an extra $10 to get a GPS or at least a map! I will never put myself in this situation again.
